Kataya Barrett

Kataya is a marine ecologist, based at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia.

After learning how fragile marine ecosystems are, she developed a lifelong passion for marine conservation. She has worked with Indigenous youth on conservation issues and various marine conservation projects. Currently, for her Masters, she is researching the relationship between animal movement and habitat usage of marine fauna in response to climate change.
