Razan Nimir


Razan Nimir

Razan is a MPhil student in Conservation Leadership at Cambridge University.

Since 2007 she has volunteered at the Sudanese Environment Conservation Society.

She is interested in community-based conservation, and is currently developing effective and applicable bottom-up approaches. In 2014, she coordinated an UNESCO-World Heritage volunteer’s project at the Dinder National Park (a protected area in Sudan) that aimed to raise awareness and reduce the conflict between rangers and local communities.
